Taiga Interior Design provided millwork design and consultation on finishes and furnishings for this new daycare in Terrace, BC. The focus was on creating a durable, kid-friendly environment that supports daily activities and can withstand the kind of wear and tear only kids can deliver. It is designed for real-life daycare needs, with kid-height storage, backpack cubbies, a hand-wash station, and rolling workstations that keep the space adaptable. Hard-wearing cabinetry was finished with colourful edge banding - playful touches designed to brighten the room without being overwhelming. The images shared here offer a glimpse into the design process and the practical considerations that shaped the final space.
