CASE STUDY no. 01

Taiga Interior Design created a space plan for a 1970s Terrace, BC home, opening up the main floor, refreshing bathrooms, and designing a basement layout with a future rental suite in mind. That design also served as the foundation for an advanced 3D modelling course, where it was reimagined as a conceptual case study to test contemporary ideas and visualization techniques. Named “Case Study No. 1” as a nod to the classic mid-century Case Study Houses, this project was a chance to experiment with on-trend ideas for 2024 while blending creativity and function.  The result is a bright, modern reworking of an older floor plan into a home full of potential, supported by a conceptual 3D study that builds on the design.
